A delightful boutique hotel with just 10 rooms, converted from an old Portuguese house. The hotel is located bang on the Calangute – Candolim road which makes it very accessible to all the happening places in North Goa. This area is peppered with very good restaurants, all within 3-10 mins walking distance. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and the bathrooms neat and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I went to Goa for a 4 night halt, planned 1 month in advance. While to goa I traveled by train as it reaches in the morning and returned by jetlite. 4 nights for a family is enough, if u r with group I would recommend minimum 5 nights. I stayed at the banyan In Feb 2009 with my wife, brother in law and sister in law. The initial concern over the hotel being on the main street through Candolim and the subsequent noise proved unfounded, by 11 pm it was allsilent. During our stay the serviceoffered was first class, any requesy or query was met quickly and efficiently by whichever member of staff we asked.Nothing was too much trouble to anyone , all the staff were helpful at all times. We booked a standard room at the Banyantree after seing the room photos on their website, which were very nice and roomy. Our actual room was at the rear of the building and the size of a shoebox, i complained to the manager and asked to move however he said all rooms were full. Later that evening i asked again and we were moved to one of the rooms shown (4 poster bed, sitting area etc). Our stay at Banyan Tree Court was a memorable experience. The rooms was great and had the Goan touch with simple but elegent interiors. The food was great and the serive was very personalised. During our stay we felt that we were at home away from home on a package worthy of value for money.

All facilities which were provide were better than what they said. -Room was sweet & hygenic -Very good & Safe location as all the happening places where nearby like disco, pubs , beaches, tourists.
