We stayed at the Rob Roy for 2 nights and it was fantastic. The staff were absolutely first class, so friendly and welcoming and very professional. The room was more than adequate and very clean.
The food was excellent throughout the entire stay and plentiful too, certainly no skimping on portion sizes. It is in a beautiful location and is only a short walk from Aberfoyle.
I booked to go back again in 2008 before I had even left the hotel. I would definitely recommend it.

Top notch hotel set in the heart of the Trossachs . We stayed for 5 days and was pleased to find the rooms clean, the staff so friendly, and the food is amazing.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting good honest value for money, and a base for touring.

stayed here for four nights, staff could not fault they were so friendly do not go to the chip shop at aberfoyle as the fish and chips are disgusting and rip you off.The hotel was basic but clean make sure you ask for toilet rolls, also someone was smoking in the hotel,you could smell it the entertainment was hilarious if your old.the resturant where you got your meals reminded me of a areoplane hanger or a church hall ,the food was bland,the breakfast was greasy.
