Mountain Mavericks Chalet Le Prele

I can't recommend this chalet highly enough! We've been hanging out with the Mountain Mavericks Olly and Emma for the last 3 years and they go from strength to strength. Previously we had stayed in Chalet Chambertin and had really enjoyed that but this year with both girls in our group pregnant and two tearaways of 2 going on 3 we felt that a more central chalet was appropriate. I cannot recommend Chalet Le Prele enough! What an amazing place. We were exposed to such luxury when we were there - Champagne and canapes on arrival, tea brought to us in bed as our wake up call, freshly baked cake every afternoon, cooked breakfasts and 4 course dinners every evening (not forgetting the 8 course feast on Saturday night). It was very difficult to settle back in to normal life. I cannot reccomend Chalet Le Prele enough. After staying in hostels for the past couple of years my friends and I were expecting a chalet to be a step up, however I don't think any of us were prepared for how nice the chalet is, how well we were treated and fed, and the wide range of other amazing features! Glenda the host was always very helpful, from bringing tea to your room as a wake up call, giving advice on all the best places to go and how to get there and cleaning up after me and my messy friends. We stayed at the chalet in the first week in January and having only just returned are starting to miss the lifestyle. From the moment of arriving we were completely spoiled with fabulous food and impeccable service. I can't thank Ryan and Glenda enough for looking after us during our stay, I only wish it could have been longer.

Le Prele is a magnificent chalet and is conveniently located.I have never experienced such incredible service before. It was so lovely that it was hard to drag myself away from the chalet to go to the town centre :))) I would like to highly recommend it - adorable, wonderful chalet!!From the time I was greeted to the time I left the staff was extrodinaraly pleasant, and always seeming to want to tell me more or help me in any way. I am looking forward to returning!

We booked Mountain Mavericks by accident - the chalet company that we'd been recommended by friends were full, but they referred us to Olly and Emma. I have to say that i'm glad the first place was full! The accomodation is really pretty plush. We had the bedroom in the top of the house, under the eaves, which is huge, with a massive double bed, our own bathroom and a lounge space (with multi-media centre) on the same floor which no one else used. Our stay at Chalet Le Prele in Jan 08 was outstanding! Fantastic chalet Well positioned Great food every night without exception The staff were friendly and the service flawless Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Having always avoided chalet holidays in the past on the assumption they couldn't match a top class hotel, it was something of a leap of faith when we booked Mountain Mavericks Chalet Le Prele in Morzine. If anything the chalet was better, we've stayed at a lot of 5 star hotels throughout the Alps and US and the building itself was the equal of any of them.
