Ana's Guest House B&B

Just like other reviews commented, Ana met us with a warm greeting. We got there in the late morning so our room was not ready yet. That was expected. Ana suggested we leave our luggage with her and return in an hour or so. We returned after getting some lunch and was immediately brought to our room. Ana greeted us (my girlfriend and I) right away with a smile and tons of information about what to do in Barcelona. She speaks English perfectly but was still willing to listen to my terrible Spanish :-) . The rooms in her flat are gorgeous! Our room, truly Mediterranean, had tall, thick, wooden doors into the room and onto the balcony that overlooked the Avenue Diagonal where we could see activity during the day and the fun night life the city affords. My Partner and I stayed at Ana's last year and it was a great little place to stay, near great shopping and within easy reach of some of the main tourist sites. We were met at the guesthouse by Ana's charming daughter Natalie. Natalie was lovely, could not have been more welcoming or charming. She even gave us a great tip for eating out on one of the evenings we stayed. We were issued with a map prior to arrival and this was just fine.
