Booked this for our 21st Wedding Anniversay, based on Trip Advisor reports. Overall, happy with the hotel, though possibly slightly over-priced for the total experience. Pluses: Quietness - despite being in a busy street, the back-rooms (De luxe) are very quiet and pretty. Proximity to shops - very close to main shopping areas. Pros -Great location: near shopping, restaurants, cafes/bars, tourist sites -Friendly helpful staff (except for 1 person): gave great flamenco recommendation, decent restaurant recommendation, changed our room when requested -Comfortable and nice feel: very nice courtyards and rooftop deck, rooms and bathroom in good shape Cons -Interior/indoor rooms are sub-par: initially we had a room that faced the indoor hallway - the room was tiny, smelled kind of bad and was ridiculously hot. After reading all the reviews my husband and I were expecting something special. We were pretty disappointed. I'll run through a our pro and cons... PROS 1. They offered us a nice glass of sherry on arrival. 2. They gave us a inside room instead of a room close the street. These are much quieter. 3. The courtyard and common areas are beautiful. 4.
