Agriturismo Villa Maria

Booked this place based on excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. I was in Amalfi Coast for a friend's wedding so didn't get to eat here every night but had two dinners and it was excellent. Everything is a made on the premise, even the prosciutto and salami! For the hotel guests, the dinner is 15 euros and without a doubt, I'd say it's the best deal in Amalfi Coast! We chose the Agriturismo Villa Maria based upon the great location and good reviews, but were really impressed by the cleanliness of the public area and the room, the great breakfast, lunch and dinners prepared by Mamma Maria, and of course the friendly staff, I remeber Pasquale and Vincenzo. We highly recommend the Agriturismo Villa Maria to anyone who is looking for a hotel to visit the Amalfi Coast.

We stayed here in June 2007 for 3 nights and found it great spot for dinner and nice relaxing spot off the beaten path to stay and see the little towns on Amalfi Coast. I much prefer a small place of character with great food to a commercial place in the middle of town that is sterile. The rooms are not huge, but are all very clean. My husband and I went to Agriturismo Villa Maria in June this year and had a wonderful week there. It had been recommended by Gennaro Contaldo (Jamie Oliver's mentor) in the June 2008 edition of Delicious magazine in the UK and I was delighted to be able to get a room there. It is really high up above the beautiful town of Minori in the Amalfi Coast. We can't say enough about the hospitality, good food and excellent accommodations at Agriturismo Villa Maria. The view of the Mediterranean from our patio was fabulous. And the smell of the lemon blossoms was intoxicating. We're glad we chose to stay in Minori as it is a little off the beaten track on the Amalfi Coast. My wife and i stayed here for four nights as part of our honeymoon and loved every minute of it. Maria and Vincenzo were extremely welcoming, the room was comfortable and spotless, the views were breath-taking and dont get me started on the food! We had read a rave review in the UK's Delicious magazine and they were totally accurate it was fabulous. While returning from a hike to the Bell Tower of the Church of the Annunciation on the eastern hillside of Minori, we spotted several cars parking and the families heading up the hill to Villa Maria, an agriturismo. It was almost 1 pm and we asked if they served lunch/dinner there. They assured us that they did, that it was excellent, and that the views were wonderful. That was all true. We stayed in a small Farm House in Minori, Villa Maria Our stay has been very pleasant, the food was great and your Limoncello heaven. Hope we return some day again.
