Caldera's Memories

The hotel...is absolutely gorgeous, huge, tasteful, very clean and practical rooms. Every detail is carefully thought of. An ideal room/suite for a couple of any age!

The people who run it... are so kind, helpful and friendly!

To get there..is very easy, huge parking lot, no stairs so carrying luggage is extremely easy.

The view...is magic! No obstacles in the way, no hotels on either side, just beautiful vineyards. The view stretches from the small island of Thirassia till Oia (Ia). Its poolside terrace, almost at the end of the ex-volcanic rocky cliff, is a perfect spot for amazing shots of the unique sunset that don't even need to be photoshoped!

There is absolutely no downside or catch to it! If what you are looking for is a peaceful, beautiful place, not crowded by tourists, this is the hotel to go. If you like trekking, the path that runs all across the north part of the island runs just under the terrace of the hotel (10min walk to the center of Imerovogli). If you have a car, you are only a 5mins drive away from the busy and lively Fira and 15-20 from the picturesque and cultural Oia, but still far enough from the noise for when you want a quiet minute!

A very nice place for young couples with little ones which are looking for a relaxing vacation. The view is fantastic and you are only a short drive from the center of the island, Fira. Especially if you want to avoid all the people that come in August. The owners Koula and Michales are very help full and accommodating. Over all a excellent run family hotel.

... this is the word which describes my feellings when I saw for the first time the view from Caldera Memories .... and then we meet Koula and her beautifull familly and we felt like we know them for 10 years .... we were spoiled for all days in Caldera Memories.

The view from Caldera Memories is one of the best in Santorini island and the warm of the Caldera Memorie owners will be with you for all the days you will spend there ...

The rooms are very romantic, very clean and all of them are with unbelievable view to Caldera ... and the sunsets ...

Friendly, quiet, family-run accommodation with great breakfast, lovely pool area, huge and very comfortable room and a breathtaking view over the caldera. It's a little trek (uphill) from Imerovigli but a quad bike or scooter solves that problem. Even in the thick of July, this place felt like a real getaway!

The view of the Caldera and the sea is amazing. This new hotel is family owned and run with loving care. The room we stayed in had a cool loft, living room, veranda and mini kitchen. Our stay included a hearty breakfast and expresso on the patio looking at the old route from Fira to Oia and the Caldera. We were on a 30 day journey through Europe and ended at this hotel with a relaxing day by the pool. I highly recommend this hotel. The owners are kind and want their guests to have a wonderful stay. This is a perfect place to stay if you want beautiful sunsets (without the crowds), friendly service and large clean rooms that have been decorated with wonderful taste.

Calderas Memories lies between the major towns of Thira and Oia. We really enjoyed our stay there after having spent a couple of days in Thira. I'd suggest hiring a quad bike and you can come and go as you please.

The owner is super friendly and makes you feel very welcome.

We had a fabulous stay in this peaceful accomodation. The owners were very helpful, the rooms were very spacious and very clean with clean towels and bed linen daily.

There was fabulous views over the caldera and amazing sunsets at night.

Lovely clean pool and comfy loungers and pool towels provided. Nice continental breakfast with cheese toasties, bread and cake in a little shaded seating area by the pool overlooking the caldera.

It was a 10 - 15 minute walk up a steep stoney track to the nearest shops and tavernas in Imerovigli and a 10 minute bus ride to the capital Fira from just outside the hotel.

Overall, a fabulous experience and we would definitely stay there again.

One of the best places to stay in Santorini. We loved the property and the owners were fantastic. In detail, the hotel has a number of rooms that are as shown in the pictures when you book the rooms. No trick photos there, you get what you see. The rooms have air-conditioning which we never used since it was a bit windy and at night the temperature was cool. The room was cleaned daily and new towels were placed. The pool was very clean and checked daily by the owners. Every morning we had breakfast served in a small kiosk that overlooked the caldera and the breakfast itself was great. We went to almost every area that overlooked the sunset from the south point to Oia and I must say that sitting on the poolside of the hotel and looking at the sunset was the best experience. The owners were very courteous and helped us with everything we needed (from getting a rental car to helping me when I got sunburns on my legs).

I must say that staying at Calderas Memories was a great experience.
