Cinco Bed & Breakfast

I have to say the previous review of Cinco was spot on. Carole who is a Brit living in Portugal welcomed us to her home - Cinco with open arms. We booked our break via Cinco website and went our booking was confirmed we got detailed directions. Cinco is very popular so gets booked up very early. Cinco, a unique B&B/Apartment located in Sintra center, is within walking distance to the train station and accessible by car via a narrow back lane. Though narrow, it can accommodate a small moving van (we witnessed this). Central, yet quiet, the accommodation is well-fitted, spacious and comes complete with fixings for a full breakfast. The owner provides access to a Roman bath, garden and patio. Views of the Sintra hills are an added plus. This is the best place to stay in Sintra, without a doubt. Forget the Seteais Palace, the gardens at Cinco are prettier , the sunset view is amazing and the decor in the indoor pool rivals that of Seteais-from the talented hand of Carole the warm and friendly hostess. Cinco is a beautifully decorated, reasonably priced, serviced apartment where breakfast ingredients are generously provided ,downhill in the historic centre of Sintra, a very short walk from the Palace,restaurants,shops and buses if required.
