Residenza Luce

We stayed at the Residenza Luce for 4 nights in September 2008. We had an amazing stay. We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon after a very long trip. Anna (the girl who works there) helped us with our beds and showed us directly to our room. The room was VERY clean. As a new hotel with few reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect from Residenza Luce, but by the time my wife and I left, we were in no doubt that we had stumbled across a gem! Vincenzo the owner, and all the other staff, were impeccably polite and helpful and the room itself (Sospiro) was beautifully designed and decorated with locally produced decorative tiles throughout, a mezzanine bedroom level, immaculate bathroom with jacuzzi, flatscreen TV (not that you want to spend much time watching Italian TV!) and fabulous views from the... more

Stayed at this hotel in the heart of Amalfi on the first day they opened. Vincenzo, the owner was absolutely wonderful - beyond helpful. The place is so well designed, with all the amenities of a large hotel. There was parking service which was priceless. Would recommend this place to anyone who was looking to stay in Amalfi.
