PP Casita

We stayed just one night in the PP Casita and stayed in the villa room as it was the only one they had left when we arrived! I thought it was lovely, the setting and layout of the bungalows is really cool, it's got a real naturey chilled out fill, as does the whole island to be fair. The room was clean, well laid out and nicely decorated. The bathroom was also nice and clean. By far the best hotel we saw on the island, and we did look at a fair few! Happy travelling! PS The weather was great this time of year. Sunnyshine!

We were planning on staying at PP Casita as our friends were staying there and said it was a decent value. Unfortunately, when we arrived we were quoted a price that was 50% more than was stated on websites. We said we were going to book it online and they immediately became hostile. They followed us to our friend's bungalow where we were going to leave our bags and told us that it would be an additional 1000 baht per bag if we left it there. This place is great 1500 baht a night for 2 with breakfast £20. It was brand new, immaculately clean. Friendly staff and a in a great location. I reccomend this place 100%. There was a mini bar, tea and coffee, complimentary water. We stayed in the main building rooms but there are also bungalows which looked lovely. Its not on the beach but only about 20 yards away. Yes Phi Phi is laid back and is full of back packers staying in beach bungalows that are about 10 pence a night but this place is definatley the higher end and still... more
