Chalet Les 4 Vents

Just returned from a great stay at Les 4 Vents. Awesome chalet - owners and staff are so helpful and really went out of their way to make our stay great. We travelled for the first time with our 3 month old baby, but found everything perfect and the owners answered lots of questions prior to our travel and helped with mid-day change-overs etc.

My first visit to ‘Quatre Vents’ was in Summer ’06 and I loved the chalet and the town so much I couldn’t resist going back. In fact this was my third visit and I was reminded yet again how easy it is to settle straight back in when the owners and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I’m a real foodie and the combination of big breakfasts, delicious cakes for tea, great dinners and a big bowl of fresh fruit to nibble on at any time does it for me every time. We had an awesome time! The food was excelent and plenty of it!! We always felt at home and the hosts arrange everything for u! Great snow boarding and skiing conditions. I would definately go back to the same chalet.

Spend a week at the chalet with friends and already planning the next trip back. Super-friendly owners and staff that make you feel welcome the minute you arrive and really look after you during your stay. Nothing is a problem, no request too big. Nice big rooms in excellent condition with balcony overlooking Morzine. Hot-tub on the terrace to relax after a hard day skiiing. And the food - amazing!! Don't come here if you're on a diet. 16 of us stayed here for a week and we had such a good time...where to start?!... The food is so good, u get a hearty breakfast-homemade cakes for afternoon tea and then a 3 course homemade tatsy dinner-enough for the biggest appetites! The staff are so friendly and helpful, they can help with ski hire etc...and anything that arises they were more than happy to deal/help with. We were a mixed group of families, children, teenagers, those of pensionable age - and we all had a fabulous time being looked after by Richard, Karen and their team. Non-skiers were given tips and lifts to follow interesting walks, whilst those braving the slopes were ferryied to and from whichever lifts were required. Assistance with lift passes and equipment hire all lessened the hassle at the beginning of the holiday and set the tone of enjoyment for the week. I stayed over Xmas 2007 at the Chalet Les 4 Vents. It's located on the hillside(a 10 min walk) above Morzine village with a gorgeous view of the slopes from the dining room, the great outdoor hot tub and some of the rooms. The hosts Richard and Karen are a lovely couple, who really care about the wellbeing of their guests, which you can feel in many ways: This year is Richard's 9th season, the experience shows! I stayed in the chalet Jan 2007 accompanied by 28 other freinds and family. I found the hosts Richard and Karen to be very friendly and they looked after our every need. The staff were absolutely amazing (especially the chef). They did more than their duty, driving us to the slopes each morning, collecting us in the evening and even taking some of us out on an escorted trip of the slopes. The resort of Morzine was closed throughout our stay due to lack of snow but that did not pose too much of a problem as we were able to ski every day... more
