Zaguri B&B

Valentina and Mario made us feel right at home at the Zaguri, making our already amazing experience in Venice 'sensational'. Definitely worth its price. PERFECT LOCATION: a couple of steps from fashion boutiques, centered right in between the Rialto bridge and San Marco's square, your bound to see everything! :D I cannot wait to return ciao bella ;P

We stayed at Zaguri B&B for 4 nights during our recent trip to Italy. We enjoyed our stay in Venice very much.The location of the B&B is just perfect - 10-15 minutes to the St. Mark Square, within walking distances to all main attractions, close to the vaparetto stop. Our room and bathroom were large, comfortable and very clean. Our room had a view on the canal. Breakfast was very good. A lady in the breakfast room was very nice. We spent 6 nights at Zaguri B&B, it was during Christmas time. The room was nice, quite spacious as for a double room, with a bathroom - perfectly clean and pleasantly warm. Windows didn't look onto the street and that gave us good, long and uninterrupted sleep every night. Location: Located 10 min walk from San Marco Square and 2 min walk from S.M. Giglio vaparetto station. Considered rather central and it is located right next to a canal which is nice. You can see the gondoles go by at night! Room: We got a large room with a canal facing view. All the furnishings were traditional venetian but the bed was a tad uncomfortable. I had a bit of trouble booking a good value hotel in historic Venice for a couple of nights in July. Each hotel advertised a price but then I would recieve an e-mail informing me that the room was available but at a much higher price! I then found the Zaguri B&B on hostelworld's website. Stayed here as two couples in two rooms and practically had the whole place to ourselves. Staff are very friendly, except the cleaner/breakfast woman who gets hacked off if you're not out for breakfast by 9am. Breakfast is ok, but gets tedious after two days (one piece of toast and a croissant type thing). Very clean, well decorated and rooms nice and modern considering age of building.
