Sorrento Town Suites

We booked to stay here through a bandb website (2 adults and a baby, crib also requested) for 6 nights. We were under the impression that all rooms were spacious and had sitting areas and a terrace. When we arrived we were taken to a tiny room which had a king sized bed taking up ~ 2/3 of the space and a very small bathroom. No terrace, no kitchen facility and no sitting area. Barely enough room to unfold the (awful) crib they were renting us for 10euros/night. After a LOT of negotiating , they found us a small apt. across the street... more

We stayed at the Sorrento Town for three nights and received friendly and helpful service at all times. We had a big room with a balcony, ensuite bathroom (all brand new) and self catering facilities (fridge, hotplates, sink and crockery). It was situated in a quiet street, but in the middle of the town, so it was walking distance to everything. spotlessly clean and excellent value for money too. They even give you a voucher for an English breakfast!!

The manager and staff at Sorrent Town Suites were very welcoming and keen to ensure we had a pleasant stay in Sorrento. They were able to provide helpful information on the local area and tourist attractions. The suites are situated in a quiet street close to the central piazza. We are sure you will enjoy your stay - as we certainly did!

We were very pleased with the room, kitchenette, and large terrace. The bathroom had new fixtures, including a shower (alas, no bathtub; those seem rare in Europe). The hotel does not have an elevator, so we did a lot of stair-climbing (60+ steps to the top floor, where we resided for a week). We didn't really mind the exercise, and were rewarded with a very nice view of the mountains from the terrace. Breakfast -- included in the price and provided down the street at the English Inn -- was, however, less than impressive.... more
