Holiday Inn Cancun Arenas

I went on vacation to Mexico last April and I stayed at the Holiday Inn. This hotel is of the far corner at the beginning of the hotel zone in Cancun, it’s very modern, the bar area and all the restaurants look very nice. Not bad for an all inclusive price. We were on the 4th floor facing the beach not facing the avenue, so it was not noisy at all. The room itself is a decent size. After reading the "ridiculously horrible reviews" on this site, I was not excited at all about going down to Cancun (March 27-April 1) for medical school spring break. I was pretty much dreading the experience. After flying in (and paying $9 each for the taxi ride) we arrived on a Tues. around 12 noon and checked in immediately (check-in isn't until 3pm, and we were able to get into our rooms at 2), while waiting for our rooms, we went to the snack bar (we were starving) and feasted on quesadillas and dos xx.
