Hotel Posada Pilar Del Toro

I looked for at nice, clean hotel, not to expencive, with central location for a one night stay, visiting Grenada for the first time with my son. This was just perfect! To minutes walk to the Plaza Nuova where you start your walk to Alhambra, and at the same time you are practically in the Albayzin! The bathroom was newly refreshed, the beds comfortable, and from the window in room 603 we could see the watchtower of Alhambra! My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in January 2007 at the end of a touring holiday in Andalusia. For anyone who isn't aware, there are currently some major redevelopments taking place in the centre of Granada, which doesn't make it easy trying to find your hotel. That leads me to my first problem in that directions to the hotel led me up to the front door. I mistakenly thought that I had reserved parking at the hotel, only to be informed that I had to park in the nearby St Augstin multi-storey. This is about 150 metres... more

Great location in the middel of the centre. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Nice and quiet room with excellent bathroom.
