We stayed here for 2 nights, and this was probably the most luxurious of all three places we had stayed at. The room and bathrooms were extremely clean, and the managers (specifically Adolpho) were very accomodating. We paid the same amount here as we did for a hostal, and I almost felt ripped off by the other places after seeing what I could get at this B&B for E85. I would definitely stay here again.

First off, location is extremely convenient & quiet. It's on the same block as the metro & the convenient store is on the next block. If you need Internet access, Workcenter (similar to Kinko's), which opens 24 hrs, is only 2 blocks away. Staff, the Italian guy, was super helpful. Be forewarned that they work only limited hours. So, say, if you want to check in at 4 pm on a Sunday, which I did, better let them know in advance. I stayed here for 2 nights then moved to Costanza, which is 1 short block away. We stayed at the Fashion House for a week in late June, and wish we had stayed there much longer. The location is superb, just a couple of blocks from the center of town, the room - large enough for 4 adults, our own small but fully equipped kitchen, the cute and spacious bathroom, the air conditioning, the cleanliness, the hosts.... loved it! Adamo and Guiseppe made us feel very welcome, gave us great tips on how to get around, and even made reservations for a great Flamenco show for us. I stayed here for 3 nights in late June and again for 3 nights in late July, on both occasions with a shared bathroom. Adamo and Guiseppe are great hosts. The location is brilliant being only two blocks from Plaza Catalunya and with a Metro station only 20m from the front door. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and the air-conditioning was really necessary in the very hot July weather. The whole place is very clean and there is no tobacco smell. We stayed 2 nights at Fashion House after reading TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. The location is great. Since it was on a side street, it was quiet, but yet it was only a 5 minute walk from Plaza Cataluna. We stayed in an ensuite apartment that had a small kitchenette. It was attractice, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Unlike the Jan 06 review, we noted no smoke smell at all. We stayed at the Fashion house for three nights in a room with a shared bathroom. Our stay was a pleasure as the hosts were kind, helpful and welcoming, always ready to give advice and answer questions. The room was spacious with a balcony and table and chairs and so easy to relax in in the early evenings before going out. The bathrooms were very clean and were no problems to share as there was one between two rooms. The appartment was only five minutes walk from the Ramblas so very handy for us. We stayed in La Suite at the Fashion House Bed and Breakfast over the New Year's holiday. The hosts are extremely nice and accomodating - answered every question we had about the area, restaurants, and gave us maps of the Metro system. We included breakfast in our stay, and there was always ample food. The room was clean and well kept. Our only complaint was the smokiness of the interior and lack of good ventilation.
