Quiet part of city - you get to wander a bit to get there, but close to the Rialto (5-10 min walk) and close to the S.Silvestro water bus stop (less than 5 min walk). Huge bedroom (by European standards) with shared bath down the hall. Everything was very clean. Mario was very nice and a great host. He really enjoys chatting with the travellers and was willing to recommend some good restaurants nearby.

What a great little place. The host and hostess are incredible - our flight to Venice was over 3 hours late, yet they still met us at the water taxi dock after midnight. The room we had was very cozy, and it was obviously renovated recently. Our first morning Esmeralda gave us some great dining recommendations... and they were all excellent... very authentic Italian. The only downside to this place is its difficulty to locate... it's off of the beaten track. This was our first time to Venice, so it's very easy to get lost... so just... more

This is a fabulous B&B in the heart of Venice, on a quiet residential street just off the San Silvestro vaporetto stop. The owner met us at the water taxi stop and guided us through the maze of streets rather than letting us try to find it on our own. Our room was a good size, nicely decorated and very clean. The breakfast was nothing fancy but very good - pastries and crossaints with jam, yogurt and coffee/tea/hot chocolate. Our hosts were very hospitable and went out of their way to make the stay nice for us.
