Penthouse Hotel

I booked this hotel as a walkin.I checked into my room and found that the toilet leaked. They asked me if I could stay in the room one night as they were booked. I changed rooms the next day and after a couple of nights they asked me to change rooms again as this room was prebooked. Which I did. well, once again i stayed at the infamous penthouse. it was my 3rd trip there, so yes, in the past i have enjoyed myself enough to come back. but, that was in the past......the time is now, and this time sucked. the cockroaches are still prevalent, the kind with antena's, and the kind in short skirts and bikini tops. the penthouse has an excellent reputation for being "customer friendly", but this trip maybe a little bit too friendly. friends share everything, and i guess that applied to the girls this trip, because they required me... more

Have visited Thailand since April 2000, this is an adult oriented theme hotel with jacuzzi's in some rooms, dance poles for your go-go G/F, swings or hamoks ect. Staff are friendly and helpful. Located on Soi Pattayaland 2 which has many go go bars on it besides their own Kittens ago-go in hotel. This was my first trip to the Penthouse in around 10 years. What a difference! I's basically the same adult fun place it was before - but now with so much more. They now have an elevator, a pool/spa, I think another couple of storeys, and some incredible rooms. I stayed in one of the "party rooms" with a jacuzzi, "exercise" swing, two beds, and various "restraint and other equipment", DVD player, two TV's with private movie channels - I'm sure there was more but this is all I remember....(it was a good party!) I have just spent 3 days in the Penthouse Hotel and was very disappointed to say the least. They led me to believe I had pre paid for accommodation and transfers only to asked for more money when I arrived. When I asked to speak to the owner, Dudley he did not give a damn and just walked away. The room was infested with cockroaches and you pay extra for everything including soap and breakfast. The Kitten Club downstairs is just as bad. The Manager walks around in a drunken state singing over the top of the music and has no concept of guest... more

I have been to Thailand 9 times in the last 4 years, and five of those visits have been to Pattaya. Out of the five visit's I have stayed at the Penthouse three times( the last three). The staff were friendly, and helpful. I found no mice or roaches in my room which is amazing in Thailand! They have rooms for every price range, this last time I stayed in the Babylon Party suite and it totally rocked!!! Spent a week there, great value considering the boutique style of the rooms and the hotel design itself is unique! I found the service excellent and the condition of the hotel faultless even though there's a little refurbishing going on. I will say this is NOT a family hotel. The adjoining bar is a little pricey though.

they will try to charge you for things you don't use in the mini bar. they charge an extra 200b for booking online. There is a 10% service charge for room service, and if you eat in the dining area you still get the same charge. I was told the charge was because I charged it to my room but when I paid cash I got the same service charge. Check the mini bar because they tried to charge for things I didn't use. They give you a 15% off card for the kitten club but the prices are already outrageuos and the girls really aren't that great... more
