Hidden gem needs some polishing-up

For its level, 3-star, really a good place. Suburb of Kandy, need taxi/tuktuk to reach city centre, but the distance (and climb to the top of the hill) is worth it: * Superb views from almost all rooms, either on the cityside or the Katugastota-facing side * Nice restaurant, usually a-la-carte and set menu but buffets at busy days * Rooms well-furnished, simple but good bathroom However despite the young age (1997-1998) already some wear and tear is creeping in.
