B & B Al Saor

For the size/cost this was an excellent base from which to explore Venice. Friendly family run guest house, we were met off the boat by the owner who introduced us to the local bar/restaurant owner over a welcome glass of vino. Perfectly positioned not too far from anywhere.

We went to Venice for 5 days in April, we wanted a good base. We found this and so much more, the hotel although small was perfect for our needs. Mr Elio gave us clear instructions how to get there even meeting us off the water bus. The rooms were spotless the bathroom was of a high standard and the kitchen which we had full use of was well equiped. The location was very good being close to all the sights. We just got back from a trip to Italy. For 3 nights we stayed at Hotel Al Saor in Venice. The location was perfect, on a quiet side street but close to all attractions. The room was very clean and the bathroom completely redone. We also had our own kitchenette with breakfast food supplied and an espresso maker and coffee! This hotel is very reasonably priced and the owner Elio is very nice although we didn't see him much.
