Casa Fenice

This place was great! It was hard to find, as is any hotel/locanda in Venice. So many tourist spend 30-40 minutes just looking for their hotels; since many of the locals give directions based on landmarks/piazzaa, not maps, this is to be expected. Once you find the hotel, you'll be greeted by the great owners, I believe they are Austrailan. THey are sooo nice and accomodating. The rooms are clean and breakfast is served in your room. Highly recommend this place. Great price, location, and staff! :) Venice is definitely a unique place.

Locanda Alla Fenice provided us with a lovely clean room. The pension was in a good location and the small number of staff spoke excellent English. Breakfasts were excellent and delivered to our room. I enjoyed my stay in Venice and give a large part of the credit to this pension.

What a find! We booked this direct from the owners and they were very helpful. Fantastic location just five minutes from both St Mark's & the Rialto down a really quiet alley with a canal only steps away. The rooms are wonderful, very clean with brilliant touches. We had a bit of trouble finding it, but that was by no means the fault of the map we were supplied, you just need to get as close as you can and then ask a local! Very highly reccommended!
