Leonardo Basel Hotel

As part of a group, I stayed at this hotel on our last night in Israel before an early morning start for the airport. In the brief time I was there, the hotel struck me as fairly basic, placed on a busy road opposite another Leonardo hotel. The room was comfortable, with toiletries provided. What more do you want for a stop-over? I saw nothing of Tel Aviv, and would like to return to explore further, but I wouldn't stay at this hotel. Somewhere more central and upmarket would be my choice.

Very helpful front desk. Lobby, bedroom, bathroom all lovely. Had a delicious lunch at the lobby cafe. Breakfast in the dining room was better than the one we had in Jerusalem 4* hotel. Very clean.

Great value for the price at this hotel. The lobby is pleasant with a nice bar, the rooms are clean, and the bed was comfortable. Pros: The breakfast is *amazing.* I would come back for the breakfast alone. Cons: (1) The rooms, though clean, are very small. Beware if you are bringing alot of stuff or have the need to spread out while traveling. For my purposes, however, the room was just fine. (2) The free WiFi does not reach all of the rooms.
