Fantastic Hotel in Cannaregio

Just back from a weekend in Venice ands stayed in the Ca'Gottardi for 3 nights and loved it...We stayed for two nights in a suite 30 metres from the main Hotel, and these are beautifully decorated spotlessly clean and air condidtioned (as was the room in the hotel we stayed in for one night)...the breakfast, bar, reception area is delightful and the owners and staff extremely helpful and friendly. Cannaregio is a good base as it does n't suffer from the Madness of Rialto and St Marks...glad we stayed in this area and its was a bit more...
