Hotel Meyerbeer Beach

The Hotel Meyerbeer is a great place to explore Nice and the whole Riviera - 2 minute walk from the beach, 5 minutes from Place Massena, and Vieux Nice, 10 minutes from train station. The staff is extremely curteous and tries its best to resolve every problem and address every concern. I stayed at Hotel Meyerbeer in March 2004. The best thing about it was its location. It is literally one block from the promenade and about a 5 minute walk from Vieux Nice. The room itself was nothing to write home about, but it was sufficient. The view was over-looking a bunch of apartments which were quite dirty and noisy, but we spent very little time in our room. I stayed at this little one star hotel just 60 meters from the beach and right close to everything and thought it was fantastic. There are kitchenettes in every room which save on going to restaurants all the time. Its clean..... A good little place to stay when in Nice
