Apostoli Palace

we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is not really palace-like but everything is beautifully arranged and it is also very clean. People there are very friendly and always helpful. The hotel is situated in quiet surroundings away from tourist paths but near enough to all the important places, everything is in walking distance.

Small but very stylish, VERY WELL RUN hotel - staff speak excellent english and could not be friendlier. 20 minute walk from San Marco square via great shopping on the way. Could not give a higher recommendation.

I chose to stay at this hotel, after reading its reviews on this site. However I was disappointed with my stay there. Firstly the rooms are quite small, no space in the room to have any seating. The queen size bed was in fact two single beds/mattresses pushed together. Secondly the breakfast was very poor, a choice of a couple of cereals, tinned fruit cocktail, croissants/cake, yoghurt. My wife and I stayed 6 days and had a great experience. The rooms are modern and well kept. The breakfast is substantial, including fruit, yogart, pastries, and cereal. The hotel is in a residential area that is very quiet, but the location is only a 5 minute walk to a water taxi. The hotel offers a 10% discount if you pay in cash/traveler's check on arrival making it a better value. We would definitely stay here again.
