Juliette's Lodge

This trip was my fourth stay at Juliette Lodge in as many years..............it is always like coming home to this charming family run small hotel. The views of the sea from every room are wonderful, the staff is so friendly , courteuos and helpful. The food in the dining room is fresh with a local Caribbean touch: however standard Americn type fare....sandwiches, etc are available. On my visits to St. lucia, I do volunteer at a local hospital and often entertain other volunteers and St. Lucian frinds at Juliette's. All seem very pleased... more

Juliette's lodge has a location friendly to those going to St. Lucia for kitesurfing or windsurfing on the southern tip of the island. Where many budget-friendly hotels leave a lot to be desired it's far enough from the crack-head infested town of Soufriere to be safe. The continental breakfast included is a nice touch for those wanting to hit the water without wasting time looking a good breakfast place. Stayed here at the beginning and end of my caribbean trip. My partner who was already in St Lucia booked the hotel as it is about 5 mins away by car from Hewannora airport. After an 8 hr flight from London and with the 4 hr time difference this was a welcome stopover as the drive back to Rodney Bay was about 2hrs. The hotel itself is fairly simple but clean. Our room was spacious, air conditioned and had a balcony.There were no toileteries provided, we queried this with the owner and on our return stay at the end of my trip found some soap... more
