Alikes Hotel Apartments

returning to elounda 10 years after our first visit we figured it was a time warp.... nothing had changed! on our first visit in 1996 we stopped in the Irene Apartments wich at the time was run my michalis, returning to the island over 10 years later we chose a teenage and adult frendly resort.... Alikes. i would not advise for anyone between the age of 12 - 19 to go to the resort unless you want a very very quiet and relaxed holiday. I really dont want write anything negative about the Alikes apartments because the staff there were so lovely but unfortunately we were given the room (room 107)which was less than 5 meters from the bar and had to put up with bar noise for the first 6 nights of our hols (when we finally got moved).On speaking to other guests it seems that if your room overlooks the pool you will get bar noise till about 2am.
