Apanema Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at the Apanema Resort. The service was really outstanding - the owners were extremely accommodating and helpful and made our stay truly enjoyable. The breakfast was really outstanding - one of the best we have ever experienced in this type of hotel. The view over the pool to the water is really pretty with a view of the cruise ships in the harbor. There is some construction going on in front of the hotel down right down near the water, but it is not visible when you are sitting at the pool or at breakfast. The... more

This place is great!! Super service and nicely aquainted rooms. We stayed in a two bedroom suite. Good location outside of town, but close walk to town.

My partner and I had a standard double room with side sea view, the room we had was a very large room with simple furniture and a very comfortable bed, a little balcony with side sea view (still very nice). The only thing I would like to see improvement on is the bathroom, it looks a bit cheap and clinical in comparision to the rest of the hotel. I have vacationed all over the world and this by far was one of the nicest trips I have taken, primarily due to the great experience we had at the "Apanema". Everything about the place was incredible. From the owner Kriton, to the front end and restaurant staff, people were overly helpful and courteous. The bed and room decorations, the views, location of the property to town and beaches, dining and personal touches around the hotel made this an unforgettable experience. We only stayed one night here, but loved it! After staying at the beach for three nights, we decided to stay for one more night in town and try Apanema. The owner and staff were very nice and extremely accomodating. After calling and finding out they had a room for us, they sent a taxi (their treat) to pick us up from our hotel in the beach area. The owner needs to put his money to his mouth. The hotel is not worth the amount of money that he is charging. I found the rooms to be on the dirty side, and the service overall was lacking in efficiancy and in courtesy. For over 200 euro a night, one should be able to have an extra bath towel. While the poolside breakfast was good, be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes before being served, as there is one waiter/bartender/busboy waiting on the entire hotel. I stayed in this hotel with 2 teenagers and we had a wonderful time. The staff is very,very friendly ; the food and the breakfast great. The pool area is fabulous and quiet . Instead of spending time at overcrowded beaches we enjoyed the calm and the service here.

This little hotel has the best service, best food and largest rooms on the island. Walking distance from town but off the main strip so you can have privacy and quiet. Staff is great!

Stayed at this gorgeous little hotel only for a week but it was so relaxing we were sad to leave. It is superbly located, above the road facing the sea offering uninterrupted spectacular sunsets and views. It is only a 5 minute walk into Mykonos town passed the harbour, albeit along a road with poor lighting. However, when we were there they were extending the promenade so it will be better now.
