Bay Dilkhusa Grand Hotel

Myself and my husband stayed at the Dilkhusa Hotel as part of a Shearings coach holiday to Ifracombe. This was the first time we had done this type of holiday and were quite open in our expectations. We booked the hotel as a late deal through the Shearings website and paid around half of the brochure price (hence the title of the review) - if we had paid the full price I think we may have been a little disappointed because of the quality of the hotel furnishings and building upkeep. had a great week at the dilkhusa, food staff entertainment very good, not been on a shearings before but will do it again if the price is right.

We had a pleasant stay ,our room was more than adequate and we were pleased to find two easy chairs in there .Food was excellent with all tastes catered for and the staff were always helpful . The hotel was right opposite the museum and the theatre with an easy walk to the harbour.To get to the high street was an uphill walk which we think would be a bit of a jaunt for the older person.. Overall we had an enjoyable week at the Dilkhusa and would definitely visit again
