Complejo Costa Sur - Sol Post Hotel

The owner of this hotel and its group G P S is in prison for fraud (local news headlines). The sister hotel the RIVIERA has already closed and here in lies the problem.People are still being sent there by tour operators and are then sent to the Costa Sur.The hotel is packed and the staff cannot cope.Quese at the restaurantand the bar food not available eg lettuce tomatoes ,chicken runs out and burgers are th replacement.There were a few times when beer ran out and ice. The hotel is clean the staff are great until you need to speak to a manager. On arrival we were greeted by a very good receptionist. She was friendly, polite and courteous she also asked if all was well and we went to our room. The room was basic very clean with plenty of room. Things were looking good until we went for a meal. we arrived at 1.00 in the morning to be told they had no rooms and to come back at 8.00 which we did, we were then told to come back the next day as they still didnt have any rooms, yes they gave us an alternative hotel (more like a hostel) which consisted of one room with 4 single beds which for two adults and two teenagers was not ideal, the most annoying thing was we later found out that over 27 families were moved because of lack of rooms but how could this happen when one family booked only 2 days prior to departure and got a room when... more
