Istanbul Suite Home

I took my mother to Turkey as a gift in Nov/Dec of 2008. We found this place on Craigslist and through their website. We initially booked 3 nights. The arrival went very smoothly and the apartments are new, clean, bright, and very well furnished. The apartment had a beautiful patio with views out to the sea. The street that the apartment is located on was a bit shabby and run down with several empty buildings, but it was only 3 or 4 blocks to a main tourist street (Cemberlitas). Our Istanbul Suite Home Apartment was beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of our one week stay in Istanbul. The bedrooms were comfortable, bathroom and shower were lovely and the kitchen and lounge were open and airy allowing a more than comfortable stay and good value for money for a family of four adults and one child. This apartment hotel is located in the heart of Sultanahmet on a quiet old residential street. Most of the major sites (Haghia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar) are within a 10 minute walk. It is a 4-5 minute walk to the Çemberlitaş tram stop on Divan Yolu street.
