Premier Inn Manchester Airport

Premier Inn's do differ, this one has huge rooms, tiny shower cubicle/wc, with basin in bedroom. The rooms are very posh, and huge. Very nice, but lots noise from Motorway, airport side ok!!. Check-in can be slow and staff mecanical, dont ask them questions, its flusters them, they have to restart their speal. Restaurant fine, if busy can be slow, smallish portions. Drinks very expensive. The purpose of choosing this hotel was it's proximity to the airport since I was spending 1 night only.In terms of convenience it was very well located from the airport and the room was pretty spacious.The food in the restaurant was good and I liked the Indian Chicken curry with Dal. It was great value for the money I paid i.e. 45 pounds per night.The icing on the cake was the visit to the Man U club. Ideal for budget travellers.

This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel overnight before a flight, and again it was really nice. The hotel only opened last year so it is one of the new style Premier Inns. It was very clean and comfortable. It was a short car ride to the airport(5 mins) or there was also a bus that stopped at the hotel to the airport. The bathrooms were nice and clean with shower only( which suited me) and hairdrier. This hotel was located only a few minutes from Manchester Airport on Runger Lane. They have a guarantee that if something is not right and they don't fix it your stay is free. The soap/shampoo dispenser was empty in shower(fortunately I took my own into shower) and they forgot to put tea/coffee, milk, sugars on tray so I wasn't able to make a cup of tea in morning. I stayed here when in Manchester for a Man Utd game and found the hotel excellent. The rooms are huge and very comfortable and spotless ( 2 double beds in a double room!). The lobby and bar/restaurant are comfortable and the staff are excellent and very friendly. For £45 a night between 2, it really is very good value. Its location suited us as well as we flew in form Cork after 11pm on a Friday night, so it was grand and handy for the airport. ok so the value 4 money is not bad at all but tbh the hotel is nuffin to rave about. it was comfortable but u can go in the city centre and there is more to do and more choice of hotel.

We stayed here for one night as we were attending a family party nearby, and it was great value-for-money. Huge rooms - the twin consisted of two (very comfy) double beds, American-style. The heating was easy to adjust and there was no problem with airport noise. The staff were friendly and efficient and the public areas relaxing. Ended up booking into this hotel after a delayed long haul flight meant we were too tired to drive back to the North East. So glad we did. The hotel is alot plusher than I thought it would be and you could still smell the newness. The room was excellent - very comfortable bed, lcd tv with freeview and a shower you can sit down in. Who can ask for more? I wasn't bothered by traffic from the motorway. We had a meal in the evening and one of their all you can eat buffet breakfasts the next morning, both were superb and great value for money.... more

I'd originally planned to stay at the adjacent Travelodge but ended up demanding a refund when I saw my grubby, poorly maintained and drab room, which was only £14 a night cheaper than the Premier Inn . This former Tulip Inn is smart and clean, and exceptionally stylishly decorated & furnished by normal Premier Inn standards. Staff are pleasant and helpful and the hotel offers the usual Premier Inn service standards and amenities. Rooms on the car park side overlook the terminal but are quiet. Booked a weekend to take in a football match with my sons.this was the hotel used by the agent.very supprised by the first class quality of the hotel.better than we expected. top marks all the way.exelent food/room..staff very helpfull. will stay here again

My second stay at this hotel and it is quite simply the best buget hotel I've stayed. This hotel has only been opened a few months so everything is still in top condition, the staff are excellent, and the food is the usual (overpriced) food you get in hotels. One gripe is the £5 charge for parking per night, which is unfair in my eyes. To sum up a wonderful hotel with freindly staff, and worth the extra few quid cost over the Travelodge just across the road.
