Pattaya Bay Resort

This is an excellent hotel for value. I have been travelling through-out Asia for three months and have stayed at 20+ hotels in the mid-price range. By far this is the best hotel I have been at. All the staff are very friendly and the reception staff went out of their way to be helpful - they spoke very good English. The rooms are very well appointed with high quality linens, a comfortable bed and very fast FREE WiFi. The place is spotless and you could eat off the floors. I booked this 3 star Hotel on the reccomendation of a Forum on Pattaya, the website is easy to understand and use and the booking was straightforward including the taxi pick up from BKK also arranged online, superb service! I got a great rate for 8 days which included one free night, the reception staff were really friendly and as I arrived early they got my room ready as fast as possible, good service. It looked oh so good. Gleaming vehicles outside a plush hotel.Thier own air conditioned limo to collect you from the airport etc, Sure enough the driver met us from the flight and led us to his "mpv" it was a delivery van with seats. It smelt it was noisy ancient and the transmission noise made conversation impossible. On arrival in Pattaya the driver who spoke only a cpl of words of english asked US how to get to the hotel !!!!!! luckily we had an idea of the general area but a new visitor would have had no chance of locating it... more
