Armeni Village

We enjoyed our stay at Armemi Village. The location is fantastic -- quiet, great view. The room was clean (not perfect, but clean) and freshly painted. The bed was comfortable and the shower was pretty good. We shared a balcony (we stayed on the main level), but we had our own table, umbrella and chairs and it also meant we were very close to the pool. The pool was small, but clean and right at the edge of the deck so shared a great view. It was a bit overpriced (not as much as some others we saw in Santorini) but I would still recommend it.... more

I stayed at this hotel last year and I was very dissapointed by the poor breakfast, the unreasonably high prices but most of all by the bad behaviour of the hotel owner. I had a serious accident at the hotel jacuzzi because they had leaft open the main water input hole. I was very seriously injured. I am lucky to be alive! But although I went to hospital, no one showed any interest, no one came to ask for my recovery nor even phoned, and of course no compensation. What a disappointment. How on earth did this establishment get 4 Stars??? And can get away with 4 Star prices? The most upsetting was the cleanliness issue. HAIRS everywhere- bathroom floor/sink/, bedroom floor, balcony and even on the breakfast rolls. We asked it to be cleaned - which made no difference. The Pool and Sunloungers were also filthy?Not usable. 4Stars???? The bed was so noise that we could not sleep at all as everytime you moved you woke yourself up? We stayed at the Armeni Village at the end of Sept. The location of the hotel is fabulous, it is on the caldera and has a beautful view of the whole caldera area, but we had many problems. This was out honeymoon and we ask for the honeymoon suite and were clearly given a different suite. We suite included an all day boat ride and had to pursue the staff to find out details instead of being asked. The manager spoke no English which made it difficult to communicate. Armeni Village is on a great location and we found the price to be very reasonable and of great value! The room was very clean and everyone was helpful. We stayed for two nights at the Honeymoon suite which has a lovely view of the caldera. The breakfast was a nice touch as it got served right in our room. The saff was amazing, thanks for the help in carrying our bags up and down the stairs! Finally, we would like to say thanks to Efi and Demitri for making this a great stay!
