B & B Bliss
from Canadacalling
Brenda Fraser has thought of everything to make your stay at Hedley Hall perfect. Her attention to detail is outstanding with lots of creature comforts. The setting, amongst rolling fields was tranquil even in the pouring rain. You will need to pay attention to the driving directions to get there, but it is absolutely worth it. We stayed three nights and wished it could have been longer.
GREAT ROOMS, lovely place to stay
from gbjoce1
Only stayed one night here but would loved to have stayed longer. £85 per night, this included £5.00 for a larger room. The room was delightful as was the house. Very tasteful furnishings, nice view and attention to detail. Huge comfortable bed. Good breakfast with homemade jams etc. Lovely lounge and large conservatory for the use of guests. The owner was pleasant and unobtrusive. Would certainly return.
Beautiful.

We got lost! Brenda was amazing - led us successfully to this lovely spot. Our room was wonderful. Large, well appointed and very comfortable. Unfortunately we arrived in the middle of some major renovations and the observatory/sunroom was not available - but we got lots of good ideas for our new home we're building and what such an addition could possibly do! Breakfast was substantial and delicious. Friendly atmostphere as we had conversations with people from all over the UK. Nice atmosphere.
Overall excellence!!

This is how a Guest House should be run.Beautifully decorated rooms with the finest materials kept spotlessly clean in a fine house in a wonderful location. No hen/stag parties here just a homely, welcoming experience with everything you would ever need, provided for your enjoyment and relaxation. All of the superlatives are true;full English means full.Super kingsize is absolutely whopping. This is what you search for and rarely find.We spent two seperate weekends here and were highly satisfied.Only too pleased to recommend.
Fantastic!

A fantastic find, in the country but so near all that the north east has to offer. Our room was large with amazing views. Brenda made us feel very welcome, the house felt so warm and welcoming, A much better place to stay than a big hotel!
Excellent B and B
from ADH001
We stayed here for 3 nights over Easter. This has to be one of the nicest B and B's we have stayed in. Brenda the owner and her staff are very friendly and helpful without being too fussy. Just how we like things. The room we had was large, spotlessy clean and with lovely little touches such as fresh fruit and flowers. There is a large sitting area for guests use. The location may not suit everyone as it is a little out of the way, but having said that you can be in Newcaste, Durham or the Metro Centre in around 10 minutes. We have stayed...

Welcome retreat in stylish B&B
from NoosaDreamer
15 mins drive from centre of Newcastle is this beautiful B&B in a rural location. Large & well equipped rooms- huge beds and showers to wake you up in the morning. Flat screen TVs, fresh milk for tea & coffee in room, views across fields & peaceful. Breakfast cooked to order and served with syle. Residents lounge if you want to read/ watch TV. Warm welcome from hosts. Will stay here again and avoid the hustle of noisy late nights if you stay in the centre of Newcastle. Very close to Beamish musuem.
Lovely place to stay
from BionicBanjo
Booked on the day - I found this place via bedandbreakfastnationwide.com £50 for the night bed and breakfast. The location is stunning and private down a long track to the property - plenty of parking. The landlady is friendly and my room was a large ensuite with beautiful views and white linen sheets. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a good sized TV. The breakfast was large and home cooked - and I received individual attention. I could not have asked for more and the place was immaculately...
