Right Choice
At the first time it was a bit confusing for me to choose a hotel. I need a budget hotel that really in the middle of the action. I chose Bintang Warisan because despite the price, it received a lot of good reviews from the other TA members ( thank you for sharing your experience :) ) I book from the hotel website, a triple sharing room for RM 379.98 ( 2 days) include tax and service charge. They charged my credit card RM 33.04 and told to pay all the rest later when checking in. Checking in was easy and fast, gave them the... more
Best location
We stayed four night at the Bintang Warisan and we found it to be an alright hotel and value for what we paid. The hotel is a little dated but clean. The best thing about the hotel is its location as it is literally beside some of the biggest shopping centres centres in KL. It is best suited for those who travel on a budget.
Ok...
We stayed at the Bintang Warisan for four nights earlier this month. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the hotel. The cost is very cheap, so I was not expecting lots of facilities, just somewhere cheap and cheerful. However, our room was dark and dingy, the bathroom did not look at all clean (stains in the bath), and there were dust mites (which the hotel staff admitted too) in our bed and I was bitten. It is in a very central location in KL, and I think that is one of its main attractions together with the price, but... more
Excellent for shoppers
My wife, my two kids (aged 4 and 2) and I spent four nights in Bintang Warisan in July 2007 and we were very satisfied. The room we got was small but comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also clean. The lifts were excellent. We only had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and the food and service was ok. The hotel personnel was generally helpful. What is great about the hotel is its location. It's situated in the middle of a sea of massive shopping centers! And, it's cheap...
Good Value Budget Hotel
Stayed in 3 different rooms at different times - all clean and tidy if a little tired looking. Not sure what problems the previous reviewer had but the bathrooms were clean in all 3. Reception staff and coffee shop staff friendly and helpful. Very good value for money considering the location and standard of accommodation.
Horrible bathroom, dirty room
My family booked the hotel based on the reviews and the location. We really weren't expecting much since it was cheap, but we thought that at the very least, it would be clean. However, the room that we got (a triple) was dirty. There were still crumbs on the carpet that didn't disappear even when we asked the front desk to have the room cleaned thoroughly. The dust was thick and seemed to have been there for a long time because it was already crusty. Only when my mom personally showed the cleaner the crumbs on the carpet and the dust... more
Value hotel, best location
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Its a budget hotel, big room and small but clean bathroom. Water dispenser in every floor and a set breakfast, Location is great for shopping. When staying for 2 days, its better to do all your shopping in one day, then take a Hop On Hop Off bus the next day for 35-38RM. It will take you to 22 destinations and you can choose which one to get off. Bus passes every 30 minutes, so you could take your time and enjoy the scenery. Bus pick up starts at 8AM-8:30PM. Take time to shop at Central Market, its way way... more
Not a bad choice
If there is one strong thing going for Bintang Warisan Hotel, it is the excellent location right in the middle of Bukit Bintang and all the shopping places surrounding the same. This budget accomodation (which claims to be a business boutique hotel as well) stands out among its other competitors (like Sungei Wang Hotel, Cardogan Hotel and Hotel Imperial) primarily due to its relatively more complete services/facilities. It also adds a bit of charm that the building used to be an old colonial house expanded vertically to a 10-storey... more
Great location!
I had been to KL for shopping and stayed at this hotel from 29 Dec 2006 to 1 Jan 2007. My friend introduced me this hotel. It was really cheap, no frill, convenient and good for budget traveller. Many budget hotels or 3-star hotel are surrounding. Lot 10 is not far away from your left and many food stalls are at the back of the shoplots. 7-11 is opposite to the hotel. However, the breakfast was not good. We rather went out to the food stalls to eat noodles or porridge. When the taxi driver dropped us off in front of the hotel, we... more
Shopping Haven
Bintang Warisan situated in the heart of nightlife of Bukit Bintang. Awesome chicken rice, nearby shopping haven for all ladies. Such as Lot 10, Berjaya Times and others. There are fast-food reataurants at your convenience. Definitely a plus point.
Friendly and efficient
You can never expect a hotel of this rate to perform this excellent. The experience was great and I have been there a few times for my trip to KL.
