Woodlands Country House

Cant add more than what has been said, thought it expensive at first but turned out to be well worth it so dont hesitate if you can afford the £98 for two people B$B then I suggest you do it. A bit cheaper the more nights you stay. The room, facilities, the staff were all excellent, many nice touches, one of the very best in Padstow I would reckon

Loved it, loved it, loved every single second of our stay there! What can I say, or where do I start? Woodlands is run by Hugo and Pippa, and Hugo is somewhat of a local character around Padstow. Hugely knowledgeable about good food, he has written two books (which if you have got to my review you will no doubt have alreay read about these!) We have just returned from an overnight stay at the Woodlands and were so impressed by the quality of the service and accomodation. Both Hugo and Pippa are very knowledgable on the local area and I would advise you to speak to Hugo on the local restaurants his guide in your bedroom is worth consulting. Definately worth staying the breakfast is one of the finest especially the traitots eggs! Thank you for a very enjoyable stay

Superb location, superb house, stunning rooms, sea view, close to padstow, close to beaches, very dog friendly, recently completed total renovations, best breakfast ever, dvd library for the rainier days in Cornwall. Run by Hugo and Pippa, charming and knowledgeable couple. Loved the night bar (honesty system). Most relaxing overnight I have had in a very long time. I travel a lot, and I have to say the big chains should go and see how it is done. If only every hotel was this good.......

A nice country home, run by a wonderful couple. Located very close to Padstow, but away from the hustle and bustle. Many high quality recommended restaurants within a maximum 15 minute drive. Very different level of rooms, so make sure you are getting what you expect. Back rooms have beautiful views, are quiet and a decent size, Front rooms smaller, older feeling and louder (due to proximity to road) but still workable.
