Great value
from gingershane
Great value, nice location and friendly staff. Found reception area to be a hive of activity and got a bit worried that we were staying in a loud hotel full of stag parties etc, but glad to say we weren't, unless that was just because we were on the top floor of course!
Attentive staff and convenient location.

After a short 5 minute walk from the train station I was welcomed by a cheerful and friendly face. The check in was smooth and staff were very helpful. The room was of a very good standard; clean and with a very nice flatscreen Samsung TV. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was a good size, although the shower was part of the bath and had a curtain rather than a screen. Whilst the hotel was quiet during my stay the walls seemed quite thin as they juddered a little when adjacent doors were closed by other guests. The bar was...

Comfortable hotel, but poor on cleaning
from MTH75
This hotel is in a good location, very close to Swindon's shopping/downtown area. Very comfortable stay, as you would expect for a new hotel. The unfortunate thing was the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. Lots of wee left on the toilet seat, drinking classes full of toothbruch residue, toothpaste left in the sink and carpets not cleaned... Not something you would not expect from any hotel, regardless of the rating! Good price at only £39 per night, plus £5 for parking (offsite). Bar facilitiy looked good and checkin staff were...

Great modern hotel!
from sciencechic73
Stayed here for one night when visiting family in Swindon. Rooms pretty clean, modern and quite big. Only down point was that our room smelled of cigarette smoke, when we brought this up at reception we were told that as all rooms were non smoking there was no way the smell could have been cigarettes - but it definately was! Other than that, good hotel for the price.
friendly efficiency packaged up in a bright new bundle

there's not really a lot you can say about the actual hotel, it brand new, bright clean and well presented...oh and sat navs have no idea where it is. check in was fast and easy and done with a smile, a real one at that (rare these days!) the room was a bit of an odd shape with a connecting door to the next room but we didn't mind that, in fact its something we will remember for future as its getting harder ti find interconnecting rooms for when we travel with the teenage children. a bit of rearranging of the room was needed...

Nice Modern Hotel
from shameel_sham
Jury's Inn is now my preferred hotel as it is modern in design with an excellent staff who is always warm and courteous. All rooms are air conditioned with clean new rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast is good and food quite warm. Since the property is new the staff is still getting trained though this is a small concern and can be ignored. The location is bang next to the town center and I hope that Room Service can be added as one of the benefits. Wi-Fi in rooms will also be desirable - but overall excellent.
great hotel..missing something!

Great place...once you're inside!

We were looking for an inexpensive place to crash outside of Oxford. Jury's Inn was offering a great rate on this newly renovated location. The hotel was located on a roundabout. Finding check-in parking and the front door were minor challenges. Parking was five pounds charged to the room at a choice of two lots. Neither felt secure in this area of town. One of the lots was across the roundabout, and connected via a tunnel walkway. Before making it to the hotel we were accosted by Mormons distributing religious flyers. As if...

Would definitely recommend

My husband and I stayed here for one night to celebrate his 40th Birthday. The hotel is excellently located in the centre of Swindon making it easily accessible to the local shops and amenities. The building itself is new. Inside the décor is inviting and modern. Rooms have plenty of space and all the usual facilities such as hairdryers, tea and coffee, shampoo and body wash etc. They are finished well and have a light and airy feel. It had air conditioning which was very pleasant as it was very hot outside. On every...
