Hotel Sultania

An excellent new hotel in Sultanahmet area, only a few blocks from Ayasofia and Topkapi. The rooms are very detailed decorated, with large beds, variaty of pillows, a large bathroom ( but only with shower ) with bathrobes, an LCD TV with DVD and Dolby surround system, mini bar, wireless and wired internet. Every room had its own name dedicated to a Sultan. I had researched Istanbul boutique hotels almost for two days before zeroing in on Hotel Sultania. We were to stay here for 2 nights from our 5 night trip. However, when we checked into our first (5 star) hotel, I was not satisfied (the room had no view and I found it claustrphobic). I was at Sultania for two nights last week during my visit to Istanbul. I wish I could have stayed longer. It is a fabulous hotel. Brand new - beautiful turkish style decor and amazing service. The personnel were very nice and took care of all my needs. The food was really good and the superb view was a great plus. The lobby restaurant with tables at side walk was intimate and relaxing and the food was very good. Stayed at sultania for 2 nights. It's a brand new hotel and i beleive they only opened in Late april 2010. The rooms are smartly designed, well appointed and the staff is super friendly. I am very picky about where i stay and this hotel turned out to be a hidden gem. Super location, about a 5 minute walk to all the tourist attractions in downtown instanbul....topkai palace, Sophia mosque and the blue mosque. would definitely recommend this hotel and will only stay there on my next trip !!

The Sultania had only been open a few weeks when we arrived so it had that 'newness' about it that is rare to experience and was fairly quiet. The location is awesome for the old city sites of Sultanamet, Topkapi, Hagia Sofia etc, 10 minutes easy walk and you're there! there are plenty of restaurants literally in the same (pedestrian only) street, but walk in any direction and you are spoilt for choice. Very nice hotel!!! It was some romantic trip just for 3 days. And it was excellent. First of all because of Sultania hotel. Beautiful rooms, it looks like a real palace! Very good location, in the center, but at the same time it is in the quiet place. Service is excellent! Managers adviced us the best place in city which is worth to visit! Great thanks! I went to the brand new hotel sultania with Federica. I use to travel a lot, but the hotel Sultania was one of the best places where I slept. The position is perfect, the rooms are new (my room had also had jacuzzi) and the staff is very very professional and kind. They help you in any need an host may face. I do suggest this accomodtaion for any kins of travel.

We went on a citytrip to Istanbul and stayed 3 nights in Hotel Sultania. I can be really short about our stay: great hotel, friendly people, good located!

A brand New Boutique Hotel just opened in April 2010. Part of the Yasmak group. I alongside my family were one of the first to stay here. The staff on arrival were very hospitable. Kind courteous to say the least. They make you feel very much at ease. I had an family ensuite room. Which was very nice and quiet indeed. A double with a room connected to it with 2 singles.
