Hilton Pattaya

I had chance to stay at this hotel in early december. this hotel had a special rate for the grand opening. when I was staying there. I think this hotel should be the most beautiful hotel in pattaya now. Hilton Pattaya lovely rooms, only if you get one on the left side of the building if you get one on the right hand side you will find it very noisy. On first impression you will think wow, once you start to look closer the hotel is not very good. Ok if you only want to stay a couple of nights. The swimming pool is the biggest let down, more like a private villa pool not big enough and always in the shade, approximately 27 sun loungers for 650 guests. Living in Bangkok we regularly visit Pattaya for a short break as it's only 90 mins drive from our home. We have stayed at a range of budget and luxury hotels and thought we would give the Hilton a go as a Christmas Eve treat, we were not disappointed. I had a nice stay in this soft opening period. We booked a King-Size deLuxe Executive Room. Also the special rate in this period was great (THB 4400 net). I can confirm the very good reviews here. So I will not write the same again, I am writing about some deficits: Pool : nice to see, but not good for much swimming because partially quite narrow , especially if more active swimmers. This hotel is great ! Million dollar view, great service from staff, comfy beds, infinity pool and prime location. I got a great deal because of a special they had when they first opened so it was very well worth the price.

Check in at 3 and had to wait for more than an hour for the room to be ready. The swimming pool is nice and have great view but the water is very cold and really not suitable for swimming. The room is just okay for a 5 star hotel standard. The bathroom and toilet took up half of the room space. The room is more suitable for couples than for family with young kids~ We stayed on the 29th floor and I thought it would be quiet but i was very wrong... the music outside on the streets of pattaya is very loud and made sleeping difficult. <br... more

Impressive new place in the center of the center, starting from 16th floor, which gives you impression that you are more close to the sky than to Pattaya chaos. The hotel is extremely modern and spacey , full of interesting corridors and fancy rest rooms. Completely furnished in contemporary stile looks like Finland sauna situated in blue lagoon, as you have see view all over. the new Hilton is a "wow wow wow" hotel. Infinity pools, great restaurants, wonderful rooms with quality fittings, furniture and fabrics. Staff well trained and genuinely caring and friendly. Loved our two days there.... certainly did not want to descend to the grime and grubbiness of Pattaya

Hats off to the architects and interior designers. The hotel is just stunning. We had an executive room on the 31st floor and the view was amazing. The pool area on the 16th floor is beautifully designed. The angle of the eliptical pool has been set perfectly so that it blends in with the sea. We had a drink in the Drfit bar in the evening sat outside on one of the huge couches in the middle of a pond. Again the views from here are exceptional.
