Not there yet but getting there
from ducks_on_tour
We spent two nights in the Radisson Bristol this weekend. We had got a great deal for the Saturday night back in August before the hotel had even opened, as it turned out we needed to stay the Friday night too but only booked this a few days before arriving. We booked a business room for the Friday night and they let us stay in it for the Saturday as well. Another member of our party arrived on the Saturday and was upgraded to a business room too. The rooms were fab. We were on the 10th floor with a great view of Broad Quay. The...

Nice Hotel & Ideal Location
from Roy2804
My Husband and I stayed at the new Raddison Blu Hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is fairly new therefor when you step across the door it has this feel about it and you know that you are going to clean a clean bright room with a good stay. We had a large room, double bed, plasma TV, Internet connection, Bathroom was lovely with your standard hotel guest of 2 large 2 small towels. The room also had a hairdryer, ironing board/iron and safe. We were situated on the 14th floor and had a wonderful view across the city, the only valid point i...

new and clean - therefore in Bristols top 5
from MECHELEN
Because of the nice exterior, I had expected something more flashy on the interior; it's nice though but nothing special. In contradiction to what I read from other reviewers, my room was rather small. Bathrooms are nice and clean -not enough towels. Furthermore, for whatever strange reason, there was no mobile network connection in the room. No need to say that for a business traveler that is very inconvenient. (in fairness other coleagues staying in the same hoteln did not have this problem). Finaly on the room, can't open the window.<br...

perfect location
from golftheology
stayed for two nights with my wife, check in was made palatable by a girl called karen who was very helpful. Got a fab price by challenging their price promise on the radisson website, bookings.com had a great discount rate which radisson were obliged to discount by a further 25 percent. room was spacious and modern, bathroom likewise, bar lacked character but was functional, gym not operating but overall a superb location and a nice modern hotel, did not eat in Fillini as prices seemed extravagant, try the All in One Bar Park St
Excellent hotel
from biggordonmc
Having stayed in The Bristol Hotel the day before and deciding to leave, this was like stepping from out of Faulty Towers into a hotel in the Carlsberg adverts, as in Carlsberg don't do hotels but if they did theyd probably be the best Clean, brilliant views, nice staff, great breakfast, lovely furnishings. I couldn't be more complimentary. Only let down is the gym has yet to be fully kitted out
Good, but room for improvement
from cameronhotelman
This new hotel is very well located- probably the most central hotel in Bristol, right next to the main city centre. car parking not readily avaliable on site. A few problems with check in- ordered twin beds but room came with double, but we managed to get this changed in about 30 mins. The business rooms advertised themselves as coming with free pay movies, but there were no movies on the system at all which was very disappointing. Rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable with great views over Bristol. Breakfast was decent. Very poor gym...

Pleasantly Surprised
from Michael_Mc69
I had booked two night stay last weekend and arrived at the hotel to find the check-in efficient and for a standard room a very good size. I was very pleased to find free wireless internet and two bottles of water and coca-cola in the mini bar complimentary. I ordered some drinks to the room which arrived promptly and very politely by the member of staff. the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was quiet and worked very well. I arrived back after a night out peckish and was disappointed with the limited night-time menu for room...

Great location, lovely modern and spacious rooms made for a great weekend
from whalesolutions
Hotel has a great location by the quays in Bristol. Our room was large and spacious with nice bright modern decor. Bathrooms were also very nicely done and roomy. They had given us an extra bed even though we had an infant but was easy enough to move out of the way leaving plenty of room for a travel cot. On the 13th floor we had great views of Bristol town centre. We had breakfast at the hotel which was really good - didn't try the scrambled eggs but enjoyed the smoked salmon, peppered mackerel as well as pastries and fried eggs to order....

superb
from beer_belly_billy44
stayed at the Radisson Blu this week and thought it was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had dinner at the restaurant, which was really nice. Room was large and very clean. Bed was particularly comfortable. Would have to agree with previous comment about the scrambled egg! That was my only complaint.
Great Location, modern hotel with a few problems
from jthomson
Hotel had only been open 1 week and so may just be down to teething problems. We had no hot water on arrival, in the morning, and room safe didnt work - engineer had to come to our room 3 times. TV reception wasn't great and no pay movies due to technical problems... Breakfast wasn't very good, bread rolls and pastries tasted as though they had been left out all night, and scrambled egg tasted like powdered egg - not something you expect from a Radisson hotel. On the plus side the hotel is very nicely decorated and to a high...
