Pros: - they pick us up at the airport on time despite the flight delay (we arrive in the middle of the night) - super fast wireless internet service in room Cons: - Dirty (make that super gross, moldy) bidet (hose like thingy to spray your behind after u go to the loo) - We ask for a double bed and get a twin bed which have been pushed together but keep on separating in the middle of the night (thus we have to sleep on separate bed) - There's unbearable engine noise around 5.40am, when we call the receptionist to ask,... more

Was in Bali for 3D2N and put up at Aston Inn Tuban. Great hotel with nice pool, friendly staff and clean rooms. The only drawbacks are locality and limited breakfast spread. It's still a great hotel, will stay again.

This is a 3 star hotel,they have very friendly staffs.They provide free hotel pick up/send off from airport.The room was clean & very purple,is exactly same what you see in their website,it providedcoffee maker,don't forget bring your 3 in 1 coffee/tea.There is no hairdryer & iron board in the room,but the room provided a very very cute purple slippers,i like it! Hotels: Have stayed there 3 nights and book a superior room with pool view. Were happy to be pick up from the airport (FOC) by a very friendly and cheerful staff by a Van with purple color seat cover... very Aston feel. It is exactly what you see from their website from reception to bedroom and pool. There's welcome drink upon arrival and good and efficient service. Upon arriving hotel, we got bit worried because the hotel is located right in the middle of noisy local streets without any feel of ' leisure & holidaying" .. However, in our 3 days stays we found out the staffs are relatively helpful & friendly, hotel rooms are very clean with all purple-themed furnitures & decors. cons - quite a distance from kuta hotspots ( > 10 mins by car ) , Rooms Air-cond is not cold enough

Nothing special with this one. I mean it didn't feel like you were vacationing in Bali. Stayed in deluxe room. Room is nice and clean. The room is not too big but not small either. The room has a balcony with view to the pool. The alley to my room is so narrow. Breakfast is so so, not many choices. The surrounding is not really interesting. It is located next to shop houses. Again, it doesn't feel like you're in Bali. But if you only need a place to sleep, not planning to stroll around the street looking for typical bali street... more

Concur with the previous poster, an excellent small hotel close to the airport. I had a two nght stopover in Bali enroute to Malaysia and booked after reading the last review. The hotel is very good value for money and delivers on their advertised services - a rarity! I was at the hotel in Mar 08 and spent 7 days there. My kids 2 and 6 loved the close proximity of the ground floor superior rooms to the pool - it was 3 steps and in the water you go! It was a no-brainer to book there again from 15-20 Nov 08. Small hotel but stylish. The room is very clean, but the aircon took a long hours to make your room cool. So on the next day, I inserted other card in the electricity panel, so the aircon stil on while we left the room. The staff are friendly, helpful and full of smile. I tried the balinese message in their spa, uhm...nice but not excellent. If you only looking for a clean place to take a rest, this is the right place. It's very new in Kuta area. It's clean, simplicity, stylish. The room is beautiful with purple color decorations. The guy that picked up us at the airport is friendly and courtesy. The only shortage is a little noisy due to its location close to the airport and the road.

My husband and I stayed for a night in Mid-May. The hotel provided complimentary airport transfers. The hotel has got a lift so it's elderly-friendly. We booked a standard room and it was facing the carpark and perpendicular to the main rd. A little bit noisy, esp. the morning.
