An Amazing Experience!!
I've been at Kempinski Nile Hotel Cairo and I could immediately feel the warm and elegant welcome of this wonderful boutique hotel. The high quality of the service surprised me, after many bad experiences I had in Cairo in other hotels. The restaurants are excellent, in particular I liked the idea of no menu, in one of them, which gave me the opportunity to choose what I really wished! Rooms and room service are definitely what I will not forget. I felt absolutely comfortable there and I couldn't pretend anything more! I... more
one of the best
Excellent hotel all around. From the service, to the room, one of the best places I have stayed at. If you are going to Cairo, I wouldn't even bother looking at any place else.

Dear valued Guest, Thank you very much for sharing this great feedback regarding your stay and the extensive experiences you had at the Kempinksi Nile Hotel with the travel community. It is a pleasure to know that you have enjoyed your time staying at our Hotel; located downtown Cairo on the banks of the River Nile with a stunning view from your room and restaurants. We hope you enjoyed our complimentary tea and coffee served by our butlers who strive to make your stay as perfect as it could be. On your coming stay, we recommend you try more of our unique restaurants; Osmanly or Blue. We would also invite you to try one of our seasonal treatments and facials at our newly opened Kempinski the Spa.

Don't stay there!
We stayed there because we had enjoyed so much our stay at the Kempinsky Soma Bay. The rooms are tiny, you bump in the furniture, the Internet works intermittently, the view is non existent, we were in a Nile view suite and the windows beside being small, had very thick marble surrounds so you only see what is right across the river. The bathroom was dirty, the furniture was full of finger marks. The swimming pool was not open, and the staff did not know whether they were coming or going. Everybody was trying very hard, but that is not good... more

Dear valued guest, Thank you for sharing your comments about your stay with us. We are very sorry to read that you were disappointed with your experience at the new Kempinski in Cairo. We would like to inform you that during the time of your stay we had just released an entire new guest floor due to full occupancy and were facing unexpected delays, which unfortunately resulted in imperfections. We would like to point out that the Butler Service is there for whatever wishes or concerns you might have, and would have been happy to amend the faults you experienced. We regret that the swimming pool was out of order at this time for a couple of days for maintenance reasons, which we have amended in order to provide our guests with a flawless experience at our roof top pool. Please also note that Kempinski The Spa is now fully operational and features a luxurious wet area and unique menu designed to balance the body and mind. We would like to invite you to try this wonderful outlet in the event of another visit to Cairo. We would like to ask you kindly to contact us directly to detect the room you stayed in and identify the concern you had about the view, which our guests usually find remarkable. Again, we strongly regret you perceived your stay and dissatisfying and sincerely hope we will be able to welcome you back to the Kempinski Nile hotel soon and provide you with a flawless and unforgettable experience. With kind regards, Fuat Koroglu General Manager

A very hard to fault experience from start to finish..
We spent two nights in the Kempinski Nile shortly before New Year 2011. The experience was amazing all round... The staff from top to bottom starting with the doormen were always extremely helpful, friendly and always very very courteous. We had a room that we were told was medina facing which means that it wasn't directly overlooking the Nile. In fact when we got to the room there was a gorgeous view down the Nile if you looked to the North from the small balcony which was a nice bonus. We were introduced to our butler as... more

Dear guest, We would like to thank you for sharing your feedback with the travel community. We are glad to have met your room quality requirements and that you judge our Reception staff as courteous. We do regret to read that you seem to have found fault with our beds. Next time please do communicate your wishes upon reservation or with your butler, as we will gladly provide you with harder a bedding layer or assist you with your personal choice from our pillow menu according to your health requirements. To fulfil your space needs, we propose you consider booking one of our Suites, which vary in size between 56 and 100 m2 and are fairly priced. We wish you a happy new year! Kind regards, Fuat Koroglu General Manager

Excellent service, standard five star rooms but not the best in Cairo
One of the best Kempinski hotels I have stayed at, with a very high standard of service. Staff are genuinely warm and welcoming. Location is the best in Cairo, for both leisure and business, in the downtown area, right on the Nile river. As for the design concept, signed by famous interior designer Pierre Yves Rochon, it is warm and elegant, however in the rooms, many furniture pieces and fixtures are not of the best quality and already look used. Rooms look much better on the hotel web site than in reality ! By contrast, all the... more

We are glad to read that you enjoyed our luxury service and genuine hospitality, which we consider one of our most important assets. Thank you for your comments about our complimentary wireless Internet, softdrinks minibar and complimentary movie library. We believe in providing our guests with pleasant surprises that include everything the luxury traveler requires. We do regret to read that you perceived some shortcomings during your stay. We have amended the furniture in question. Teething problems
Positives- Great location, nice surroundings, excellent rooms & beds Staff are always checking if you are OK (too much sometimes). Great food (but see below), great Jazz Bar. Negatives- Staff tried to be good but in reality were very poor, the restuarants were very good but "Blue" was very expensive and the service very poor and took an age. The wrong wine was bought to the table and we were overcharged for 3 items on the bill. All this when there was only 2 tables taken in the whole restuarant. We were there on... more
Flawless Perfection in Cairo
This hotel, a new boutique for Kempinski exceeded all our expectations...we spent a bit more for the full Nile view, and it was worth every dollar... the details of the hotel are amazing.... it looks very plain on the outside, but is stunning on the inside (which also ads to its safety) - the rooms are small in size, but rich in fabric textures, appointments, and style, the bathroom with two types of robes, marble, tons of fluffy giant towels, wonderful, the deck nice and large to watch the Nile from. The bed and linens were heaven! The... more

Best Hotel in Cairo
I travelled to Cairo for a family holiday with my wife and three kids. The Kempinski does not have interconnecting rooms, but the service was out of this world. They made sure we were all happy, the checkin is just perfect! On arrival, they immediately knew my name and called me by my surname. So on arrival, I was taken straight to our rooms. The check in was carried out in the room, with a very cold strawberry smoothy and a glass of Champagne. Then you have these lovely rooms over looking the River Nile, the view is just... more

My Stay
The Kempinski Nile Hotel truly gave us a great first impression. It's Location in the middle of Cairo makes it great for both leisure and business trips. Thanks to the friendly treatment by hotels staff, they made us feel right at home. For any future visitors, the Blue restaurant is a must see as they are currently offering a unique "no menu" service (any food you desire). My only criticism is the inconsistency of the house keeping and the loud Cairo traffic being heard excessively on the fourth floor. Unlimited wi-fi access, swift check-in... more

Dear estimated guest, We would herby like to thank you for sharing your experience at the Kempinski Nile Hotel with the travel community.
