A King's view at a pauper's price
from Ashtori
The prima is situated right smack on the promenade alongside the DAN. Fantastic views from sea view rooms. Nice cool decor rooms. Good new touches (flatscreen TVs and Fridges). best TA seaviews. No pool alas but a 1 min. walk to beach (which i prefer) for this expensive city, prices are V good. Food is ok rather than great but fair for the money. staff friendly if not professional and helpful. 1 block from acfe mersand for afternoon cofee and a couple funky ice cream aprlors on ben yehuda St. a good bet for Biz ppl who want a bit of...

Think twice before you stay here!!
from MaureenMCt
While this hotel is very clean the rooms that the 16 of us stayed in here extremely small. It was impossible to get by the beds and have even one suitcase on the floor. They were having a heat wave in Tel Aviv and there was no air conditioning. Only we didn't know that when we turned the controls to cool we were only heating the room. To make the room cooler, per the hotel staff, "turn off the fan and open the window". But the window only opened a few inches and then all the noise from the street came in. They had no fans to put in the rooms....

Great Tel Aviv Hotel
from Rollerskate391
Really nice hotel, very friendly and helpful personnel at the reception, breakfast area, and the maids; outstanding breakfast every morning with fresh eggs. Room was clean, smallish with view of the Hotel Dan across the street. Bathroom OK. No WIFI in the room, Internet in the lobby cost USD $3 per half hour, parking lot next door cost NIS 30 for 24 hrs. One minute walk from the beach and promenade, Beach and Sea very clean, sand very fine, plenty of wave action. 24 hour shoppette down the block. On our next trip to Tel Aviv we will...

Very Nice Hotel
from anniejean
I almost stayed at the Maxim Hotel, down the street, like the people I traveled with, but after I saw their room, I'm very glad I chose the Prima. My room was large and nicely decorated. The included breakfast was excellent, and the staff (for the most part) was great, especially a front desk clerk named Oozi. The location is great, right on the beach, although you'll pay more to get a room facing the water. I did have a strange smell off and on in my bathroom, but I wasn't really in my room that often, so it wasn't a big...

Loved Tel Aviv
from TrippGenk
We went for a sort city trip to Israel, 4 nights. Hotel location is perfect, close to the beach, close to the main streets. Overall cleanness of the hotel was ok, rooms were tidy and perfectly cleaned daily, view of our room wasn’t that nice, no balconies in this hotel. The only negative point we had was the breakfast, to poor, to less and not so nice served, outside breakfast terrace was not clean, so we skipped it after 2 times. But overall, verry good, we will book there again. Tip ; seek for the cheapest price on...

OK Hotel - VERY rude reception staff
from IndaiatubaBrazil
Rooms: the first room was given to us had a terrible smoke smell. We asked to change rooms and we got a decent one. Bathroom very small... Location: pretty good. One block from the beach... very safe... lots of restaurants, bars and groceries near by... Breakfast: reasonably good... lots of salads... Reception desk: very rude and no helpful at all...no patient at all... you feel thay want to get rid of you... you feel you are disturbing them... very disappointing... I really do not know if I would stay at Prima again...

I booked 3 rooms for my parents, my kids and my wife for 5 nights at the Prima Tel Aviv. Excellent location next to the beach. The rooms are well maintained and well equipped. The food was fantastic. We all had a fabulous time!!!!
Problems at Prima Astor
from nurse61
My husband, me and my in-laws have just returned from Israel and while we loved the country, our experience with the hotel was not pleasant: rooms were dirty with stained carpet and walls, smelled of dust, beds were never covered with bedspread,it was kept folded in a drawer which was probably for the best, since it was also extremely dirty. Breakfast was included, and was OK, if you don't mind eating the same food day after day.
Loved the Astor Tel Aviv
from A TripAdvisor Member
I have been coming to stay at the Astor Tel Aviv for nine years. It has a brilliant position in respect of the beach, the town, restaurants within walking distance and business centres. But most of all it has charming, friendly and supportive people working there. I have stayed at much more expensive hotels in Israel but still prefer the Astor Tel Aviv. Average Small Hotel - great beach location
from grandmonsterb
Stayed in Prima Astor Tel Aviv hotel from August 28th to September 1st, 2005. Reserved the hotel via www.asiarooms.com for $106 per night including buffet breakfast. Location: on Hayarkon Street, one block from the Tel Aviv Gordon Beach. The hotel is located next to the Dan Hotel Tel Aviv. There are several cafes-restaurants(strongly recommend 'London' cafe/restaurant..huge portions, inexpensive and great food), deck-chairs and umbrellas for hire(at 7 shekels each), shower and bathroom facilities on the beach. Excellent location...
