Nice Hotel, but so many issues
It's a very pretty hotel. BUT, the staff was very unhelpful. And they had no services I expect from a hotel of this calaber. - No help with my luaggage when I asked - Internet was broken and when I worked, I was charged for it - My door did not lock - hooks in the bathroom where falling off - No maps or help for seeing the sites in Granada (and there was nothing in the room)
Look no further
Enjoyed an excellent stay at the Villa Oniria. Hotel appears very welcoming as soon as you enter, with soft lighting, scented candles and soothing (if a little annoying after a while) music. Service was excellent and the modern room, although a little on the small side, was nicely decorated, had everything you need and a terrific shower (there was also a separate bath, although I understand that not all rooms have this). Breakfast was decent value and the hotel had a nice-looking spa, which we were unable to enjoy due to lack of... more
Truly Heavenly Hotel - Villa Oniria
I never write reviews, however, as Villa Oniria has impressed me and my husband so much, I decided to show my gratitude in this way. This hotel has amazingly beautiful room with classic yet refined interior, and the entire building is luxurious as well as very well maintained. Our bed was extra comfy, bed sheets and comforters were the top quality, and the bathroom had separate shower booth, toilet&bidet area, and sink area. All of the hotel staffs were courteous and kind to us, and they offered excellent continental breakfast (12... more
A refreshing stay in a city hotel
Excellent small boutique hotel right in the centre of Granada. it has only been open 9 months, and is situated in an old building which has been up dated to the minimilisic modern. The room if a little small is very well equiped and very comfortable. Very helpfull and attentive staff, and parking is available a few steps from the hotel for a small extra charge which is essential in Granada. We stayed two nights and it was the best stay of our week trip to Andalucia
Fabulous
Absolutely loved this hotel and would come back to Granada just to stay here. The architecture and design is first rate. From the water feature in the lobby to the cozy fireplace and open seating areas this property is 5 star. The room was immaculate and the beds the best we have ever slept on. The rain shower and the bathroom were wonderful. We did not want to leave! Enjoyed the expansive breakfast but as we were rushed to catch a morning flight had only 10 minutes to savor it. As one poster mentioned, it is a shame the restaurant is not... more
Perfect for a weekend break
We really liked this hotel. The room was as nice as some 5* hotels we have stayed in. Service was also very good. The breakfast was just what we wanted, including fresh orange juice, fresh fruits and steaming hot expresso. One very small downside. On Sunday evening when most restaurants in the city are closed the hotel could only provide a ham and cheese sandwich. However, eating it with friends in front of a log fire, sipping chilled rioja - served by a charming waitress - it was not that much of a problem! Cannot finish without... more
A feel good hotel
You get an immediate feel of tranquillity and welcome when you walk in the door. Very wellcoming frontdesk. Beautiful central area with peaceful fountain. Very friendly efficient staff. Rooms VERY quiet. Hotel opened in Feb 2007. Extremely comfortable beds with great shower (no bath) good toiletries and high quality towels and towelling robes. Very central. Breakfast (not included) costs 12Euros and is simple and typically Spanish. - parma ham, chorizo, cheeses, fresh fruit and really good coffee and herb teas. Paid 140... more
Amazing Hotel!!!
Excellent hotel in every way. The interior of the hotel is stunning and the outside patio area is beautifull. Our room was good size, very clean and very comfortable beds. The staff was great. This was our first trip to Granada so we were bothering the front desk staff frequently and they were always very nice and helpfull.
Absolutely stunning
Stunning 31 room boutique hotel in a great location, would definitely stay here again. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Despite not being allocated the room we had booked, we were moved into the correct room for our 2nd and 3rd nights without any problems.
highly recommended small luxury hotel
Pluses - good location, close enough for attractions and shops but just far enough away so not kept up at night with bars etc. - stunning room with highest quality fixtures and fittings - traditional building but with elegant modern decor - very quiet - the most comfortable bed, we usually do not bother with siestas in Spain but we did here. Negs - no information on restaurant not a menu in sight after asking they didn't bother so we didn't - charging extra for the spa is a bit cheap -... more
