Cititel Express Kota Kinabalu

I stayed in a Std Double room, despite being by myself, as I was on a bit of a reconnaisance mission for a good hotel to stay at when I return to KK with my husband in the future. Everything was fantastic except that the bed and room were too small to suit 2 people. There is no place to dress unless you do so in the hallway next to the bed or in the washroom. No bedside tables as the bed reaches the edges of the wall and closet - to get in and out of bed you must use the foot of the bed. Closet too small to accomodate two suitcases. Bed... more

Stayed here for 3 days with my son. the staff were friendly and efficient, the room was small but clean and well maintained. The check in and out was fast. there is a restaurant in the lobby. However we did not try it as better and cheaper options are available nearby. W stayed in the superior twin room. However the standard double seemed to be almost the same and cost 20 ringitt less. in fact the standard rooms have a window while ours did not. So one might as well book the former. It was a pleasant stay at Cititel Express. Location was great, esp surrounded by mouth-watering food outlets. The room was clean and new, as the hotel was only opened last year. The amenities were basic - no mini bars except for Superior Triple rooms, but they included hairdryers. The room we stayed was not big, but good enough for 2 persons. The shower was fantastic!! The city center of Kota Kinabalu is quite small, and the location of Cititel Express allows you to really walk to every tourist spot in the city, including all the shopping malls, restaurants, sights, and this hotel is especially close to the Waterfront, which is the area of KK's best night life. Stayed at Cititel Express Kota Kinabalu for 3D/2N. Value for money, yes. As the hotel and room is clean, and is located at center of Kota Kinabalu. The toilet is clean, shower is good, bed is good, there is a pantry at every floor where the guest can take their water and do ironing there. TV is wall hanging. stayed with Cititel for one night with my family and small children. the staffs are very most helpful and the room is very clean and very convenient. Cititel will always be my first choice hotel if ever I come back to KK and KL.

This hotel is situated at the heart of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This a new hotel and it can be easily book online. This hotel is truly value for your money, clean and staff are friendly and the service is at it upmost best. Even the rooms are slighly small for a family but this rooms are perfect for business traveller staying for a few days. Eating places are just a stone throw away. Firstly, each guest room were given one free parking space. The hotel lobby was spacious and had a modern feel to it. Security was good, as the elevators only ran once the access card to your room was swiped. They also only allow access to your specific room level. This hotel is pretty new when I stayed there. Stayed for one night. Hotel is new, so everything works. For a hotel with 'Express', check-in and check-out was slow and unorganized even though serving few guests. A busload of tourist would have been a complete disaster... Rooms are small and basic, almost claustrophobic if you don't have a window. It would have been good to at least warm up the room with better furnishings and trimmings etc. Instead most stuff is flimsy, and would be falling apart after a few months...
