Hampton by Hilton Liverpool/John Lennon Airport

New hotrel right opposite the terminal at Liverpool Airport.Very well soundproofed with fantastic views of the airport and terminal. Very modern design rooms, breakfast from 4am (Hot from 6am) included in the price of 62 pounds. No critcisms

We stayed here for one night prior to an early morning flight.It is very close to the airport,in fact it took us about 1 minute to walk to the terminal!The rooms are spotlessly clean and the bed has got to be the most comfortable I've ever slept in.The hotel has it's own carpark located on the 5th floor of the airport carpark,you literally park you car right next to the hotelCar parking costs £5 per day and the room £69 which I thought was good!Minus parts are,the booking procedure was not as efficient as you would expect from a large... more

This hotel was very modern and comfortable for an overnight airport stay. We had an early flight so were pleased to be able to get a basic continental breakfast included from 4am. A hot one was available from 6am. The staff were the most friendly hotel staff we've come across. However, it was quiet fortunately as they had to deal with reception, deliver food and do the bar! Visited Hotel, it was 8 weeks old. When we found it( follow the airport parking road signs !) check in was very quick. Corridors looked very clean, but room. Door was scuffing onto the tiles, A/c vent had its own " hang yourself" wire coming down from the roof. Guest services brochure "written in invisible ink". Plugs aplenty , but one above the desk, (held in place by a large wedge of paper) was set in wall at a very funny angle, no loo brush, iron didnt work, theRadio defied logic. and breakfast space was very small and understaffed. arrived at 8pm to check in and also did ten other people reception couldn't cope , room very nice went to get something to eat and served still frozen in the middle chicken wings sent them back with the poor girl who was receptionist ,bar person and waitress. other people had been across to subway to get there food wish we had .At the front desk there's a plaque saying basically if your not satisfied we,ll refund your money what a joke other people had complained and had there full cost refunded but a hard face manageress told us the food... more

Superbly located hotel if flying from Liverpool airport (right across from terminal entrance) It was a real treat to stay at this hotel amd made for a perfect start to our trip away. At a cost of £69 for myself and wife to stay 1 night and include breakfast (and parking for that night) it is a cost effective way to start any holiday. Absolutely within a stones throw of the airport. Just cross the road , go up to the 5th floor and you're there! Perfect for those early morning departures or late night arrivals. Brand new rooms with everything you need. Beautifully decorated,modern,bright and airy. Our only complaint is the sofa bed is a little small for 2 children to sleep. Ended up staying here because all city centre hotels were full due to Liverpool v Manchester United and racing at Aintree. The hotel is immediately opposite the terminal building on top of the multi-storey car park. Car parking is free for hotel guests for the duration of their stay. A taxi to the city centre costs £15 or you can go by bus and train. The hotel has not been open long and is modern, light and airy. A trip north to see relatives gave me the opportunity to try the new Hampton by Hilton at Liverpool Airport. As I am a seasoned veteran of the Hampton Inn brand in the US, I was interested to see how the brand had been translated into "English"... Stayed here with wife and daughter on a 1 night stop over. Location great just opposite the terminal above the new multi-storey car park. Quite an adventure up the lifts to find reception but got there in the end! Very fancy and modern when you walk in but not the most practical with design over function...not kid friendly either.
