Staybridge Suites

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. As a new brand and a new concept for the UK it is extremely important that we continue to receive guest’s comments and suggestions to ensure that we can evolve the brand to the market we are now targeting. Staybridge Suites is the first extended stay hotel to open within the UK. Already a success in the US market, our guests will find a variety of 'Americanisms' throughout the hotel (the hob kettle - instead of an electric kettle - is a good example of this - which rest assured we are looking into). It is very disappointing to hear that you felt the Front Desk staff spoilt your experience. We are extremely proud of our team. When we recruited them all, 3 months ago we made a decision to employ our 'Guest Services' team for their friendliness, personalities and warmth. We decided to employ a team who had never worked in a hotel before - who did not have any pre conceived ideas of how to 'be' a receptionist. Whilst we appreciate that we still have a long way to go with regards to completing all of the training required, we have been extremely impressed with the feedback on how friendly, helpful and accommodating the team are. I am of course extremely concerned to read how disappointed you were with our new linen and towels. As a hotel that has only been open 3 months this is a worry and I thank you for bringing it to my attention. I only wish that you had let us know prior to your checking out so that I could have taken the linen to our laundry company for an explanation. You will be pleased to know that since this letter I have introduced spot checks on our new linen and have had a meeting with our laundry company and shown them this letter.
