Courtyard Istanbul International Airport

It was one of my best week in biz trip . all the staff are very nice and great food.

We were transiting from Cairo and had only about 6 hours so we booked the courtyard. Blown away with how clean and easy the hotel was. Very modern reminded me of a danish hotel. We ate at the restaurant buffet and it was great. They have computers available in the lobby for flight check ins. Rooms are big, clean comfortable and the TV's have the flight status for all flights at the airport. The hotel was quiet. The Courtyard just opened this year - the rooms/carpets still smell new. Service is excellent - staff work hard to care for guests. Food is very good at the main restaurant. Rooms are large and comfortable. I really enjoyed my layover here, including having the pool & sauna to myself during the daytime (sometimes crowded in the evenings). *Hotel is somewhat expensive & not near dining (except McDonald's). Have stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, and have nothing bad to say. Perfectly located near the airport,rooms are quite big and nice,seems everything is new. Restaurant in the hotel does not have too much choice for dinner, but will do for first need and its quite expensive. Must say staff is generally very friendly and helpful. Breakfest was also fine,even I came 30 minutes before they were closing and most of the things were already removed. This hotel looked very new, and as such the rooms were very clean and neat. We liked the decor of our room and it was very spacious. Especially compared to the smaller sized rooms you will see in Sultanahmet and Taksim area. Both the room and bathroom were large. The bed was very comfortable, as was the other furniture in the room. If you need to be close to the airport, this hotel is an excellent choice. This hotel needs to fix its air-conditioning, as a previous poster said. It’s almost as if they are just blowing in humid outdoor air without cooling it. Lots of humidity in the room, which made our stay uncomfortable. It is necessary to clear security before entering this hotel. The hotel is new, so everything is in great condition. We stopped here on our way from Izmir for the night before heading home to America. Great hotel, had just opened. It's about a 5-10 minute ride from the airport. It was so new we had to tell the cab driver where to go. Fully self contained. Clean, efficient, nice design, nice room. Actually made you want to stay longer (if you can believe that). We actually had two stays here. A one night stay and then a two night stay a week later. The hotel is is beautiful. The staff is friendly. The food tastes great...but...we had set up a deal thru Marriott on their website where we got a special rate. We couldn't find our reservation # once we got the hotel, and since they couldn't find any reference for it...they hit us for full pop that we were quoted. We needed a place to stay for 1 night near the airport. The reviews on tripadvisor for most of the airport hotels varied from not good to awful. We stumbled accross this hotel while searching on the internet, and as the hotel was new there were no reviews. The hotel was excellet. Brand new, clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. We needed to stay one night to catch a flight back to the USA from Istanbul. This Marriott was only open one week before we arrived. The hotel is quite beautiful and modern but they still needed to get some of the kinks out among the hotel operation hours. We arrived around 10:00pm and we were told the restaurant was open till 11:00pm, but the restaurant was closed. Then we were told the bar was open with some food until 1:00am, but the bar was closed.
