Other reviewers had said it all. This is a great resort in any way. Outstanding service and nice rooms. The pool area is beautiful and it was no problem getting a sunbed whenever you wanted one. 2 large pooltowels and comfortable sunbeds. The hotel is situated at the end of Maenam beach, the bad news is that the water because of the tide and corals is not clear so it is no good for snorkelling. This hotel was provided to us because our hotel had double booked our room. We originally were to stay 2 nights and then move onto our original hotel. After one night the choice was easy, we rang our original hotel and asked to be moved to the Ban Laem Sai. This hotel is first rate, staff are friendly, food is excellent, rooms are spacious, comfortable and private. The grounds are quiet and beautiful with no nearby noise or busy mainstreets. I can not say enough good things about this hotel other than "Stay there"

The Ban Laem Sai Beach Resort and Spa is (almost!) everything you might want in a resort for a quiet, relaxed and romantic vacation. Our room was simply gorgeous, and the air conditioning effective and quiet. The pool (or pools, as it is large and with varying levels and different areas such as a swim up bar, basketball net, whirlpool jets) was lovely, and the staff indulgent as they allowed us to swim after supper even when it was closed. We stayed for 5 nights in March 2007. We had a hill top room with no view, but that was not a problem. The room was nice, though AC could have been stronger! We had just stayed 5 nights in Bangkok, so Ban Laem Sai was a welcome respite from the pollution and traffic. Bring your own snorkel gear. The water is beautiful, but the hotel didn't provide any gear. Food was good, but we only had breakfast and lunch.

This place is to die for. We stayed in the cliff top jacuzzi room and it was beyond belief. It was the second year in a row for us at Koh Samui and this hotel made it even better than before. Amazing staff, immaculate and beautifully furnished spacious rooms... you really couldn't ask for or expect more. The only thing I would say is dinner dining at the restaurant was not up to what you can get in restaurants in Chaweng, although for a hotel reasonably priced. Just couldn't rave more. We stayed here last september after a free upgrade from the Fair House Beach Resort, and by far was it the best upgrade imaginable. The hotel had newly opened, and was, i believe built and run by the same people as the Fairhouse, so upon arrival they offered us a chance to look round and upgrade if we wished. My wife and I stayed in this beautiful resort with our 4 year old son for Christmas and New Year 2006/7. I was dubious about making the reservation as there were few reviews online at the time but from the minute we arrived in this great resort I knew we had made a great choice. This by far the nicest hotel me & my fiance have stayed in. We were going to be getting married in Mauritius, but after 1 night here- we changed our minds. From the moment you arrive the service is second to none. Firstly we were greeted with cold towels and a refreshing drink, and asked to take a seat whilst reception checked us in. Stayed here for 5 nights during our honeymoon in september. First of all, its a fantastic hotel!! It opend in january 2006 and its spotless and clean. The staff is the best I have ever seen. So polite and service minded. They help you at once if you have a request or problem. We stayed in the charlet room at the top of the hillside. Beautifull view and fantastic nice room. We stayed 5 nights in August 2006 and the hotel still looked very new. It's located on the north side of the island, very quiet but only 10 min from Chaweng Beach. The beach in front of the hotel is a bit rocky but walking 100m and you can swim safely. Nice swimming pool. All rooms are very large in individual luxury bungalows. Bathroom has bathtub and shower.
